A positive working environment that created opportunities for career progression.
The good thingsLHG is a growing organisation which meant there were always new faces and everyone was very welcoming. They are very focussed on continous improvement and looking at how they can be better. The launch of systems, values and the engagement survey was really playful, which was a nice change from previous organisations i have been part of.
The challengesLike any growing organisation, there is a lot happening. There were alot of efforts to communicate changes in a timely way and this will need to be a continued focus.

Working for a not‑for‑profit is also a great experience you feel connected to a purpose.
The good thingsThe culture here is genuinely supportive, with friendly people and a positive, happy workplace atmosphere. Even though we're incredibly busy, leadership encourages balance and leads by example, which makes the environment feel much more human and grounded.
    The challengesCould be more organised.

Significant challenges with workplace culture and psychosocial safety.
The good thingsLovely residents and staff on the floor.
The challengesWhile the organisation promotes strong values externally, the internal culture and approach to psychosocial safety do not consistently reflect this. Executive leadership demonstrates a management style that can feel transactional, with staff often treated as numbers rather than people. Psychosocial risks are not effectively identified or managed, consultation is limited, and employee wellbeing is frequently deprioritised when issues arise.

A very unhappy environment to work in.
    The good thingsFriendships with staff
The challengesI belive im the wrong person to ask about this company. I was badly injured at work and after 14yrs service I was treated very bad and was detached from my employment. I had zero support. Not one person from managment contacted me about my injury until 7mths later. That was only to tell ne I had been detached. I now have a serious infection in my body which also left me blind in one eye.
