It's a very supportive and respectful environment and there is regular engagement from the People and Change team to maintain a fun and inclusive place to work.
The good thingsThe office facilities are great and the other staff are all friendly and nice to be around. There is a strong emphasis on regular and open communication so any issues can be addressed. Having lunch provided is also fantastic!
    The challengesNothing comes to mind.

A great place to work with the opportunity to succeed
The good thingsGreat culture and work environment. Empowered to exceed in my role. Great people. Forward thinking company. Madison is big enough to be a major player in our chosen fields but small enough to feel part of a family style business
The challengesI think we are still evolving, we are not yet sure of how big and how good we can really be.

Great approach to learning & development and a great team culture!
The good thingsIn my role I have been afforded multiple opportunities to learn and grow my skill set through structured training programs, online learning modules and great on-the-job training. Our health and well being is really looked after as well, with lunch provided daily and annual flu shots provided!
The challengesWhen I first joined the company it was sometimes difficult to determine which business unit/sales department sold which product, but with the recent re-branding of the individual business units, each of them have their own identity, making it far easier to understand how they operate and which markets they service.

Rewarding career and financial benefits if you work hard
The good thingsMadison is big enough to have structure and support, yet small enough that you don’t feel like a small cog in a big wheel. If you want to work hard and be rewarded for it, this is the place for you. As there is multiple businesses under the one company there is lots of opportunity to always be doing something new and exciting. The culture is really friendly which is helped by the free lunches each day where everyone sits together for a real lunch break. The head office in Murarrie is one of the nicest buildings I’ve ever worked in with amazing views along the river.
The challengesMadison is growing and evolving which means new and improved ways of doing things. Some longer term employees aren’t as happy with this growth and change which be frustrating, however you get that at any company and for the most part everyone is along for the change. Also be prepared to put on a lot of weight from all the free lunches...

    Uninspiring! A paycheck - not a career
The good thingsFree lunch... Flexible hrs
The challengesA management team that is too old school, not open to new ideas and is tuned out from the actual market they operate in.

    99% Great
The good thingsOffer great work/life balance - understanding of family needs and are flexible around that. Good perks too with lunch everyday and monthly team cook ups, plus others. Good technology to work with. Loads of business potential and room for career growth.
The challengesUpper management is pretty disorganised although semi-recent restructure with new GM might help that ongoing. Really need to figure out how to communicate better between business units and be less territorial.
