This has been a valuable opportunity to develop my sales skills and professionally represent brands.
The good thingsI have really enjoyed working in a professional and well-structured environment, where I have had the opportunity to represent and learn about multiple premium brands. This role has allowed me to build strong product knowledge while developing my confidence in customer interaction. My manager and colleagues have been friendly, supportive, and always willing to help, which made it easy to ask questions and learn on the job.
The challengesOne of the main challenges is working across different locations, which requires quick adaptability and flexibility. Each store operates slightly differently, so adjusting to new environments and teams can be challenging at times. However, this has also helped me become more adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced retail setting.

Fun and enjoyable experience with big brands and friendly coworkers.
The good thingsIt is nice to get the opportunity to work with many big brands and learn a lot about fragrance and skincare. The work is interesting, the brands are diverse, and the coworkers are very friendly and nice. It’s a fun and enjoyable working environment.
The challengesThere were no major challenges, though shifts could be fewer during off-season periods due to the casual nature of the role.

Really good experience for anyone interested in a career in retail however there is a tendency for your work/life balance to take a hit.
The good thingsGreat experience in managing high profile clients, people management and business development. For the most part, the people were good.
The challengesNot a 9 to 5 role, expected to work weekends and no additional remuneration or time in lieu. Lot of internal pressure and expectation which are hard to meet. The high turnover is an obvious indicator that people get burnt out quickly.

I loved my job and my original manager but after she left there was no instruction or communication and I found it hard to receive work. I then didn’t get any response when renewing my job application it didn’t work I reached out for help no response
The good thingsAgency work is awesome to take work when you can and don’t have to when you can. I took 2/3 jobs a day so that’s great.
The challengesQuiet retail periods means no extra work. Communication was a little difficult.

Great Experience to gain further exposure in the Retail Beauty Industry.
The good thingsWorking with Marc Edward Agency is great for any looking into cosmetic retail to gain experience and has passion for makeup & skincare with a qualification. I enjoyed working with a the different brands and being trained on skincare & makeup and receiving products as part of training and travelling to different department stores and great customer experience to promote the brands flexible working hours on a casual basis loved the friends i had made.
The challengesAchieving KPI targets some stores were busy others quite, management were unfair with treating certain staff members, dealing with Myer management for timesheets & rosters and lack of communication from the agency, finding your own way & back to travel to other stores.

My experience with the Marc Edward Agency was pleasant. The work advisors were lovely although i wish i had abit more training in the process. Again I'd definitely reccomend to students or anyone that has a hobby or study/work interest that can get in the
The good thingsI personally feel like it's great for students who are still studying but want to earn the extra cash. It's flexible, and doesn't require you to do everyday shifts because it's up to you and which shift you can take. All depends on your availability so that is the perks of working for Marc Edward Agency!
The challengesThe challenges will most definitely I think in my personal opinion is the travelling. It's back and forth so it's not in one particular spot. Although it's great for people who are outgoing and don't mind going to different areas each week/shift.

Best job to have while studying as it is very flexible
The good thingsWorking with people or by yourself, the amazing jobs you would do from being the basic of food sampling or promoting make up or supporting charities.
The challengesSome challenges would be having to chose between different promotions you would want to work on but were at the same time.
