    The good thingsI’ve been a part of Microhire for 13yrs. First in 2012 and recently rejoined the team as the QLD Venues Manager. The people, commitment and progress is evident and it’s an amazing place to work.
    The challengesLike all areas of the events industry, peak seasons can be demanding and fast paced.

    The good thingsOverall I have worked at microhire full time 2 times in the past 10 years (around 3 years total service). Compared to alot of employers in our industry the morale/work place culture is really good and they care about staff retention and keeping everyone happy in their job role.
    The challengesIt can get busy at times but that's the nature of our industry!

    The challengesAlthough sometimes you are required to do similar things at every shift, you still get to do a bunch of different tasks improving your skills every day.

    The good thingsChallenging and fast paced working environment. If you are prepared to work hard, you will be successful. Very understanding and compassionate Management accommodate you where they can to balance work and home life. Young and innovative production team, the employees that have been around the longest are passionate and well experienced a great place to learn a lot about the industry and develop a career.
    The challengesThere are periods in the year where it gets very busy and a lot of staff can't handle the pace.

    The good thingsThe best place I ever worked just started too late into my time in the level of role I was in in my career. Wish I'd started here out of school and had 15 years before the ranks ahead were filled

    Work is extremely challenging and diverse; if you are bored and after a challenge; this is it; if you are after an easy job; this aint it.
    The good thingsThey will take on school leavers and people who need their first job in the industry, and train them up giving them harder jobs as they get better.
    The challengesNot for slackers; you really earn your money there; difficult jobs and timelines for getting them done. If you want a challenging job; this is it; if you can handle it.
