    The good thingsThe workplace culture is positive and supportive. Managers and colleagues are respectful and approachable. There are good opportunities to learn and grow. Work life balance is respected, and people are valued for who they are. The result is positive long-term experience.

    I've been working there for three years and chose the company because of its long-standing reputation. I began my career as an inspector officer but switched to property manager after a few months. The excellent work environment allows for flexible working arrangements, including working from home. It's also a perfect place to gain knowledge and experience in real estate and property.

    The good thingsStrong focus on core values and team, supportive working environment with continuous training provided and flexible working arrangements. MW value employee feedback and regularly conduct surveys and 1-on-1 meetings. Good bonus package, challenging KPI's but the reward is well worth it!
    The challengesFast passed, need to be good at time management and prioritising work. If you need support the team will always help.

    The good thingsMomentum is a great place to work. There’s a really positive culture among the company and good communication between each division. The company values staff feedback and regularly conducts surveys and face to face catch ups to hear from every team member. Work/ life balance is encouraged and there’s ongoing training and development opportunities. The office is modern and in a central location with good facilities (i.e. adjustable ergonomic desks). There’s plenty of opportunities to get to know colleagues with monthly drinks/ food, some big social events in the year and regular all-staff meetings where individual performance is recognised. Momentum is a very professional company that values its employees and has a lot of really good processes in place to encourage communication, feedback and growth.
    The challengesWork can get busy but there’s great collaboration among the team to support each other.

    The good thingsThe culture of the business reflects partly the leadership in the business. MW leadership is open, honest, transparent, accessible and acknowledge good performance. They engage professionally and friendly with employees. Most staff here have a good sense of humor which is important to me. The general vibe of the business is comfortable. I've worked in medium-sized business before and the culture/leadership has been questionable. Flexibility is important and working from home is sometimes an option with permanent employees after a while. Training for the role is delivered comprehensively with a structured plan. The business purpose pertains to my interests which makes my time at work relevant. The premises is a quick walk to the hub of West Perth. Public transport is quickly accessible.

    A company that sees the quality in you.
    The good thingsGreat team environment, open door policy and a wealth of knowledgeable colleagues that you can easily throw ideas and challenges off of. Good bonus scheme, challenging KPIs but rewards for when you hit them. A fun group of like minded individuals in a team environment that is friendly with colleagues willing to help out when you need. Monthly meetings to discuss progress, seek help where your KPIs may be lagging and to run over where you are at. Helpful management that actually listen - if you speak up! I worked for Momentum for some time and left for Maternity leave, upon my reluctance to return to work (as I was not ready) I was offered the opportunity to come back at any time. When the time was right (much longer then I anticipated) I contacted them and they worked around my schedule and needs to find a position that fit my lifestyle changes. I love that I work for a company that can see the quality in my work ethic and in me as a person trying to navigate my new role as a mum and still trying to manage my role in the workforce.
    The challengesThe drive to and from work in peak hour traffic! In all seriousness, there is team changeover which can be a challenge at the time but the plus is that there is swift movement made by management to work it out and they ban together to keep the cogs moving and to keep the team happy at challenging times.

    The good thingsMomentum Wealth is a great company and one that i would recommend to anyone wanting to develop a career in the property industry. The most important thing about a workplace is the people in it and MW has some of the best people in the industry to learn from and grow. It also has a great social culture that allows for a fun and conducive environment.
    The challengesThe only real difficulty and challenge was the state of the market and a completely external factor not directly related to the company. In saying that, with the strong demonstrated success of the organisation over a long period of time, there are processes and systems in place to overcome these challenges as best as possible.

    The good thingsAn amazing, dynamic company to be a part of, especially for new property managers beginning their career. Momentum Wealth is not your average property management company. The exposure to such a working environment which incorporates so many aspects of property investment in your career really ingrains the importance of organisational culture to boost productivity, knowledge as well as grow you as a property professional.
    The challengesDue to the change in the property market, the biggest challenge would be market conditions. This is an external factor which the company cannot influence. However, their response to these market changes is noteworthy. Management is frequently updating the team and encouraging them whilst we work this tough economic environment. They are very appreciative of all the hard work the property management department do and celebrate the wins no matter how big or small!
