The challengesGet some decent managers onsite and in corporate office, full of incompetent managers and supervisors, purple circle is rife and this company is stuck in the dark ages, would not know what good looks like,

A Tick the Box outfit & nothing more
The good thingsThe Life style roster was good.
The challengesA don't rock our boat management who don't communicate, care about or back up their cleaners. Issues regularly not dealt with or discussed, H&S was a joke & if you expect them to act like a professional outfit you will be sorely disappointed.

    Melchor Head Office
    Apr 2025
Osborne Park WA 60171 to 2 years in the role, former employee
Some people on site in management roles or senior who shouldn't be, while other junior level staff should be taking over there place. Not much transparency or open communication, things need to be done a certain way to present to people although not the truth. No actual benefits outside of a base salary if head office. People on site with lower level qualifications then some in head office but on huge salaries and bonuses.
The good thingsSome of the guys at Melchor in Head office were great!
The challengesPurple circle within mgmt/melchor/monos + HR teams for example.

The challengesManagement treats you as a number not an asset, unorganised workshops, terrible equipment, rude bosses, safety officer wld rather take a photo of you then share concerns. No support for new people.

Hands down the worst company I have ever worked for after a decade in this industry
    The good thingsAbsolutely nothing whatsoever
The challengesAtrocious organisation and communication. Couldnt organise paid services in an establishment that specializes in said services. Nothing is their fault either. Rude and arrogant all from top to bottom. Systemically toxic.

Known for using the carrot on a stick. Tell you what you want to hear and use you till your burnt out
The good thingsSome of the people were good to work with
The challengesNon compliance in a lot of areas . Purple circle in place. Seagull management . Doing the work of 3 people only to be told you need to do more while others get away with doing very little. The only reward for hard work , is getting more work piled on you.

Never-never land for little boys who never grew up.
The good thingsNo need to fly or use company tools and you can cook your own food.
The challengesWhile everyone else is flying, getting camp and food and using company tools... you'll be driving 600km each week, trashing your own tools in the salt and living with social outcasts with zero social etiquette...all for a low low income. Get your foot in the door, but get out of there asap!

not too worse but won't be a place to stay in long run, for the work load, maybe go somewhere else that have a better pay
The good thingsCo-worker are nice, have 1 day work from home option, yearly pay review
The challengesPay at the bottom line of scale for the amount of work you need to do, no pay for overtime work, at the beginning everything are nice and sweet, slowly after few months micro-managing kicked in, no emotional support from upper level when things are hard or when you gets mistreated from worker from another department

Ive enjoyed my time at Monadelphous and would highly recommend anyone looking for a career not just a job to apply.
The good thingsThe tenure of the team here is extremely long, with multiple employees in the team here being 10 years plus - this says a lot about the management and culture. Management is extremely supportive there are good procedures in place. For those who put in the effort there is every opportunity to succeed and have a long and successful careeer at Monadelphous.
The challengesDuring busy periods its hectic - but what workplace isnt!
