    Toxic Workplace - Avoid
The good thingsSome co-workers help make things bearable to get through each shift.
The challengesEverything. Extremely toxic workplace. Management do not care about anyone but themselves and do not listen to employees. Good employees get treated poorly and bad employees get away with anything.

Be somewhere where you grow quickly, deliver results, and feel part of something bigger.
The good thingsMondelez is the perfect place for people who are ambitious, curious, and hungry to make an impact. People/Culture and products.
The challengesAttitudes - yes there are challenges, it's demanding however I see it to be an opportunity to step up, collaborate, and be outside of your comfort zone to grow, however this is not for everyone. Disappointing to see negative comments but normal I guess when no longer with this business.

Use for a step into a better job elsewhere
The good thingsGreat pay, good teams to work with, going home everyday
The challengesShortage of workers, no career progression, inequal job opportunities. Outdated safety practises, toxic work culture encouraging reporting on each other for even minor issues like walking on a designated footpath which others tend to report back turning into a vicious cycle and other negative practises. Barely even proper evacuation drills when ammonia leaks. Absolute circus of issues. Zero accountability from the top down, HR preach about inclusion then divide the workers. Management do not care for anything including the own companies reputation.

It is a toxic, dishonest environment with fiefdoms top down. Poor leadership.
The good thingsGreat brands, many great people, lots of challenging diverse projects
The challengesNepotism and favouritism of friends, without accountability, incredibly long hours and unrealistic expectations, with no recognition for contribution. Double standards, politics, unethical and toxic behavior

Mondelez had always been my dream workplace, and I was grateful for the opportunity to work there. However, I realized that growth, learning, and overall experience vary greatly depending on your team lead and job location. I noticed clear favoritism in hiring practices within certain functions, which affected team dynamics. The work environment often felt inhumane, where long hours were romanticized, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance was nearly impossible if you wanted to progress or stay competitive with peers. Even basic employee support (like leave requests) would often be ignored or declined by higher managers if you weren’t considered “important” in their eyes, with little to no understanding or empathy. That being said, my perspective is based on my personal experience. I did observe that employees at the head office and some other sites appeared more satisfied and engaged compared to my location.
The good thingsLots of learning opportunities. Great reputation across the world. An amazing place to start your career and understand the ways of working of a mega company.
The challengesPoor work-life balance. Workaholism and almost zero support from management. Too much politics inside departments and favouritism in hiring.

The good thingsMondelez fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment for all! From my first day, I've felt part of a team where I'm valued and respected.

At least it is highly probable that my next work experience will be better
The good thingsThere are actually a few good people that work there and try very hard to make do with what resourcing they get.
The challengesA highly toxic and political environment. Zero support. Management push team values and inclusivity, but it is all a front. All feedback received is demeaning. Any given feedback or concern is twisted to reflect poorly on the employee.

Very bad; most of the line leaders are not good at explaining what to do for new people who start. For some reason, the casuals have to train them when it is not their job.
The good thingsThe free chocolate, some people were nice.
The challengesAlways going fast, can't stop. Even when people need help, you get into trouble when trying to help others.

Why are all the recent good reviews from Head Office . RED FLAG!Presents as a wonderful career opportunity when reality is toxic back biting and micro management. Accusations fly thick and fast from inexperienced middle managers more concerned about self preservation and future opportunities. Recent reviews suspiciously all from Head Office in Melbourne paint a rosy picture when reality is a stressful over worked role where every minute and decision made needs to be recorded for future reference and justification. Monthly meetings are nothing short of excruciating. Thankfully a Senior Manager in Victoria has recently been forced to leave so hopefully culture and appreciation of hardworking and conscientious staff will improve.

Its been almost 2 years for me at Mondelez. I love the culture, the inclusivity, my team and the learning opportunities here. My role is focused around the APAC region, but thanks to the exciting projects we have at the moment, my role has a large portion of global opportunity. This means that I get to collaborate with my colleagues in the Northa and South Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia! So much potential really!
The good thingsI love the culture, the job and the team that I work with!
