I am truly happy with my job and love going to work every day.
The good thingsthe educators are so passionate and truly have a love for childcare. Every day is different and the team work is amazing. Management is very supportive and understanding of work/life balance. All the children bring such joy to each day and the bond made can last a life time. Consistent training and guidance as educators.
The challengesThe different needs of each child can be challenging at the start but once you get to know the children and their families it becomes easier and easier.

There is support from Centre and upper management, with the Area Managers knowing each staff by first name. There are opportunities for career progression with Management positions mostly hired internally.

The good thingsI loved my positon as Room Leader at Mulberry Tree. The team and Manager made it a fun place to work. We enjoyed some great laughs and nothing beats coming together as a whole for our end of year events. So many happy faces.
The challengesThe past few years have been a little tricky at times with finding relief staff when needed, but made easier as the Manager was always happy to help. Had to move interstate, so sad to leave. Lasting memories for sure.

Fantastic, I recommend Mulberry Tree to everyone!
The good thingsRarely counted in ratios which allows you the time to mentor, guide practice, work on environments, show new families around etc. Generally you work in a long day care office running your OSHC centre and supporting the running of the LDC centre when needed. It is a great pathway to becoming a centre manager of an LDC as the LDC manager mentors and supports you each and everyday. Great work life balance. You don't feel overloaded with tasks Great leadership team to help when needed
The challengesNot applicable- all really good!

The best workplace in the world... Feels like home to me
The good thingsSupportive management team Fantastic team mates Possitive work environment The company truly puts children first in all that they do. Quirky environments with beautiful upcycled furniture I didn't feel the company was profit focused at all, very child centred. Amazing area manager <3 I would stay here forever! Truly an amazing place to work.
The challengesNormal challenges faced in childcare. The supportive headoffice team are always on hand to support with any challenges we encounter.

The good thingsThe other staff! The discount for putting your own child there is pretty good too
The challengesManagement is profit focussed. Getting more enrolments is prioritised over ensuring children and staff are safe and happy. Hardly any training offered and minimal breaks.
