Do not work here, you will regret it!
The good thingsNothing good about the place. Best part was leaving.
The challengesManagement was not good and I didn't get any support. They made me feel terrible about myself and I did gain anything from the experience.

Overall, an excellent customer engaging and stock managing experience.
The good thingsThe good things of working here are the customer services. We have to deal with different types of customers and fulfill their requirements. Furthermore, by doing the stock deliveries frequently, we get to know about different products in detail so that its easy to help customers about some particular products.
The challengesEvery week, there are many deliveries for the store in different categories, and the staff has to arrange all of that. Sometimes, it is difficult to manage the deliveries and customers simultaneously as I am all by myself in my working hours. But, by time, I have learned how to deal with different challenges and managing to solve and perform them.

Treated as a number , not a human being. High turnover rate.
The good thingsLearning new skills , the customer base was mainly friendly
The challengesBeing told in initial trial that there is opportunity for advancement then finding that to be very untrue, the gossip was horrible , the night owl group chat on Facebook you're added into without being asked was very intrusive on personal life work balance. Micromanaging and disrespectful.

To summarise my experience, The work itself was very beneficial in providing me with knowledge and skills needed, however, the financial gain was not very high and the hours are very limited.
The good thingsWorking at Nightowl has provided me with a massive knowledge base on how to handle duties and situations faced in work environments. I immensely enjoyed helping and building relationships with customers that enter the store.
The challengesThe only challenges I have faced is limited hours, which has not benefitted me and helped me grow as much as I can as a loyal employee.

My experience with Nightowl was on a whole a good one.
The good thingsThe store i worked in was in a busy location with many locals coming in daily. I enjoyed my regulars customers and enjoyed the busy pace of the shop which involved lots of food prep. Always plenty of work to do which i love.
The challengesDealing with the drug dependent people was sometimes very challenging. Sometimes they would be aggressive, impatient and ask for credit. You would need to read every situation differently and hope you get it right. Also completing daily tasks within the your shift so the next shift didnt have a flowover of jobs.

It was a job so that was great, but very difficult at times.
The good thingsIt was close to home, I got fairly good hours, working with some cool people and was able to get some experience and learn new things.
The challengesI was often working alone, so I was the only one in the shop serving customers, packing shelves and cooking food. That was very challenging when it was busy, or the gas ran out, or I had to go to the toilet.

Enjoyable and quiet whilst challenging yourself to be more self motivated.
The good thingsThe job lets you work by yourself which gives you time to think and relax more than other jobs whilst staying focused on the task at hand. The management is good and the hours are fair as long as you are flexible with time and dates. The morale of the workplace is pretty high which makes working there better.
The challengesSometimes the work load can be hard and the shifts can range from very early mornings to midnight shifts. If you are not self motivated, this job could prove to be more difficult because you may not have the motivation to get through the shifts.
