    Assistant Centre Manager
    Apr 2026
Melbourne VIC 30001 to 2 years in the role, current employee
    Ask lots of questions..
The good thingsPositive education framework is good
The challengesPay reviews are none existent, you remain on same pay rate you commenced on for years (if you enquire you are told you started above award) Work life balance is difficult. Alot is expected of you to volunteerer your time, unpaid overtime, no leave loading on annual leave, after hours meetings, events for community expected to be volunteered work. Career progression is very low. Company has had a large staff turn over and continues to lose important roles without replacement. Systems could be reviewed to ensure staff are not completing the same task in three different ways. Very outdated way of documentation still mostly paper based

    Early Childhood Teacher
    Mar 2026
Melbourne VIC 30003 to 4 years in the role, former employee
Would not recommend, low paying company!
The good thingsGood planning time for a week
The challengesECTs are paid the same starting rate for years irrespective of years of experience until you’re fully VIT registered. The centre manager is unapproachable and often unprofessional.
