Great team environment and supportive management
The good thingsA healthy culture, supportive team leaders, flexible work arrangements, and staff wellbeing support programs. An overall great workplace that cares for its staff who then in turn care for the community.
The challengesNo challenges, sad to leave. Only leaving as relocating.

Never again will I work in a Government department be it federal, state and definitely not council level.
The good thingsFamilies were delightful. Some of my co-workers were brilliant and very helpful.
The challengesWas recommended to tone down my customer service towards families so it wouldnt out shine my fellow co workers. Very difficult to do. Getting to work on time using public transport was always a challenge. Often the buses would be running late or not turn up at all due to all the road works between DeeWhy and Belrose. Finally using the Govt computer system was very confusing. Ihad very little training and no manual to follow.
