A great brand to be a part of, with an awesome culture, supportive team, and flexibility.
The good thingsI’ve genuinely loved working at Nutrition Warehouse. The culture is awesome, super supportive and fun. Everyone is really approachable and easy to work with, which makes a big difference day to day. The team is great and there’s a real sense of collaboration across the business. There’s also good flexibility, which helps with work/life balance and shows there’s trust in the team. Generous discounts on all products & other perks for team members. Overall, it’s just a really awesome place to work with good people and a great vibe.
The challengesHonestly, there aren’t any major challenges that stand out. It’s a really great environment overall with a supportive team and strong culture, which makes it an easy place to work and enjoy coming in each day.

Meet KPIs and you will be rewarded generously
The good thingsThe salary inclusive of achievable KPI bonuses is satisfactory for the work performed. There is an opportunity to make the role your own while still following procedure and layout. The approach to customer service being paramount is refreshing. Great discounts.
The challengesThe base salary, exclusive of bonuses, can be low if you are working in a low-performance store. There can be a lot of pressure on you to increase store performance regardless of how little or how much you are engaging in outreach, but the APC can be helpful in shielding from this.

My first year with this company was great and I was generally really enjoying the role and everything that came with it. Unfortunately due to change of upper management the company became a very toxic workplace. I felt like I wasn't being rewarded for all the hard work and effort I put in and I was basically replaceable at any moment. I did have some great times with the company and they did support me on some levels but majority of the time I felt very micromanaged and uncomfortable.
The good thingsGreat for cheap supps and workers we're all nice and friendly. Plus very flexible with work life balance.
The challenges• Poor interaction and feedback from head office and Area managers • Salary was below average • Toxic culture

I love the flexibility I have now (it’s taken me years to get). Good work life balance, trusted. Pay is quite offensive which is disappointing as you want to be looked after and appreciated by a company.
The good thingsThe discounts, work life balance, flexibility, trusted by my AM, not micromanaged.
The challengesPay isn’t rewarding and doesn’t match the requirements and expectations for a manager, bonus structure is outdated.

A roller coaster of good and bad, mostly bad.
The good things- Discounts on products is great - Some great relationships to be made with gym managers and staff - Exciting at times with new product launches
The challenges- Suffocating micromanagement - Staff are disposable in upper managements eyes - Conform or be pushed out, originality is somewhat rejected. - Recognition is almost non existent

Over 10 years with Nutrition Warehouse, managing the Accounts team, office management, commercial leasing, imports and logistics.
The good thingsGreat environment, being part of a fast growing company, job security, feeling of satisfaction knowing you have contributed to the success of the company.
The challengesWith fast growth, comes a lot more to be done across the whole of the company. Prioritizing can sometimes leave other important responsibilities incomplete.

    Friendly and relaxed work environment
The good thingsStaff and head office team are always friendly and easy to communicate with. The staff benefits are very generous.
The challengesSome stores aren’t always busy with customers all day so there is sometimes a need to be able to come up with and find things to do in the store.

Great in store work environment. Good perks and overall quite enjoyable.
The good thingsGreat team environment in store. The work itself is very enjoyable. Hard work is rewarded through monthly bonuses which is motivating.
The challengesSince the shift in upper management, the culture of the company has definitely suffered. Communication between HR and staff has proven to be a difficult task. Since the previous APC has moved on, it is hard to convey serious issues that arise.

Always enjoy coming to work to learn and grow
The good thingsWorking with like minded individuals, ability to learn and expand knowledge on training, nutrition and supplementation APC Chris Mackay was always willing to help me out when I came on board with the company and made sure I felt welcomed into the store and gave me every opportunity to learn and expand my knowledge. During COVID lockdowns both times he always made a point of coming into the store to make sure that things were good in store and personally me and the manger were doing ok. Best APC!

    Horrible
The good thingsThere are a lot of good co-workers
The challengesUpper management don’t give two cents of care about the staff, referring to them as disposable. Behaviour policies are written but only the broader staff are expected to follow them, upper management is somehow exempt. The culture is horrible.

The good thingsNW is a stable growing company, with a friendly and fun team culture. We are a close and collaborative team who like to have fun while striving to be the best.
The challengesWe are growing at a rapid pace and this can be a challenge - however we have a great leadership team with strong values who are continuously trying to overcome these chalenges.

The good thingsSupport would be the best word to describe working for Nutrition Warehouse. Through my role as manager and as an individual the constant support and care for staff is five star. A friendly team environment from every level from store to head office.
The challengesSales will always come with challenges in reaching KPIs etc. But we are given the tools to overcome them.

Great company to work for, great benefits and great opportunity for growth. I really love my job :)
The good thingsThe working environment is great, you can connect and build great relationships within the company as well as the industry and your customer base too, being like-minded and having similar interests in health/fitness/supplements. I have also really enjoyed working with and learning from all previous managers and area performance coaches.
The challengesCompulsory Facebook posting that receives no engagement. Only having one instagram page representing all stores can lack a local/community feeling and be confusing for customers that don't know we have multiple stores around Australia.

Great place to work, develop your professional skill set and make great mates along the way.
The good thingsThe team environment and industry in general are very positive, unlike most industries it really feels like a hobby rather than work.
The challengesUpper management and HR are often not in sync and out of touch with staff on the ground, huge room for improvements which could be combated through better communication.

Great job satisfaction with being able to help others and be part of a growing business.
The good thingsLots of learning opportunities. Great team to work with. Everyone is passionate about health and fitness. Suppliers are very supportive. Very fulfilling role being able to help others.
The challengesThere are a lot of misconceptions about our products/industry due to the internet, social media and on rare occasions - GPs that only believe in pharmaceuticals. However, our suppliers have assisted us with knowledge to allow us to break through these hurdles.
