Great workplace with lots of work if you say yes to shiftsThe good things99% of the clients are nice and welcoming, there are a few who are very wary due to bad experience with other support workers. Once you have presented to the clients as a trusting person, he or she will be very friendly. I found the workload to be massive at times especially during holidays but its all about maintaining a balance. Management, from my experience, is great with friendly reminders and government imposed safety rules.
The challengesSome clients tend to call in for assistance and then cancel at the last minute. It has happened and the resolution is to call it in to report this.
