While the work is relatively straight forward, everything fights against you to actually accomplish anything. It is a very challenging environment to get anything done ontime. I do not know how Orange is able to claim a "Top Employer" title with so many unhappy people and no management support.
The good thingsColleagues and Peers are generally hard working and try to delivery in a tough environment wanting the best outcome for clients.
The challenges"Management", nothing is ever good enough. They do not comprehend, understand or appreciate the complexities when trying to delivery projects. A global "IT" company that frowns upon working from home. No career advancement opportunities. Working with outdated and antiquated back end systems makes it all the much harder.

A disorganised company that needs to review its management team and structure.
The good thingsThere are some good people
The challengesThe company is very immature with few good processes. The management team require training and focus on doing their own jobs rather than everyone else's. There is no appreciation for work life balance.

    Orange is a Lemon
The good thingsThe people were by far the best thing at Orange. Teammates and colleagues were generally hard working
The challengesTerrible manager. He'd been there 25+ years. Way too long and going nowhere. Absolutely NO room for advancement. Command and Control culture No appreciation of the challenges in delivering even the most simple of projects due to the global nature of the delivery model which is non-sensical and just does not work.
