    Lacking Integrity and Christian Values.
    The good thingsThe kids at the school are fantastic along with the majority of the teachers.
    The challengesThe way the school is run is appalling. The inability of the school to provide a roadworthy vehicle for the school bus run was my main reason for leaving. The school also refused to pay my wages as per the EBA which required intervention from Fairwork to get money owed. All up for a supposed Christian school I found their lack of integrity appalling.

    The good thingsThe College motto 'a community of learners' doesn't just apply to students. Staff are encouraged and supported to continuously learn and grow also. There's a real sense of community and belonging within the team.
    The challengesA fast paced working environment similar to any school.

    The challengesPoor Leadership. Poor Management. Lack of career progression. Principal not prepared to listen to or even consider any options or alternatives to her way of thinking.

    PLC is a workplace that will provide you with the opportunity to grow as an educator and develop strong relationships with the school community.
    The good thingsPacific Lutheran College provides many opportunities for its staff to extend and grow. Consultation with staff is timely and kept in the loop, and this has made the working environment refreshing. I have been teaching for 30 years, and I can honestly say that working here is enjoyable.
    The challengesThe changing curriculum is a challenge in all schools. However, supportive staff mitigates this.

    The challengesUnforeseen changes or circumstances can present issues with lesson start times as can not having an understanding of requirements of the job you are presented with.
