    Genuinely Awful, don’t bother!
The good thingsThe Kitchen Team was fantastic! Unfortunate for management they lost the entire team within 2 weeks of eachother.
The challengesManagement, Creativity, Joy. If you have a single bone of creativity in your body don’t work here, they will strip you of joy. Plus they refuse to train their front of house staff which makes it even more difficult to work here!

If you are a chef that thrives on being creative and expressing yourself then do not work here
The good thingsThe kitchen team was great, shame within 2 weeks they lost the whole team
The challengesManagement. If you wish to express any creativity find somewhere else, they do not cater to the community only themselves

One bad apple spoils the bunchGreat company to work for who recognise employees’ contributions and management are nice. I left after being tormented by a long-standing member of the team. I requested support from HR but was not offered or informed of the EAP which was really disappointing but …. silver lining is I love the role I moved into after leaving and have been with my current employer for the last 3 years and haven’t encountered any bad apples!

Always looking for staff. Lacks professionalism Food services management unsupportive, no leadership, lazy. Miss managed. Resulting In a no care attitude in this department. No accountability, resulting in high turn over of staff. Staff over worked, lacks appropriate communication, resulting in staff becoming frustrated.

    Disappointing and undervalued
The good thingsOther staff and the community were beautiful.
The challengesIt you want to feel like just a number, and that you are replaceable, this is the spot to be. Nothing that you do for this company is ever appreciated or reconcile. But the customers and the community are beautiful.

Working for PLR has been very rewarding for us, we have learnt so much since our time with PLR and hope to continue to move forward with the company.
The good thingsBeing able to work autonomously and manage the beautiful and stunning resort as if it was out own on a daily basis, having fantastic support from head office when required, resort admim accounts to the CEO, everyone is so helpful.
The challengesSometimes trades can take a while and homeowners do not have the patience to wait and can be quite challenging with their expected time frames.

Happy environment and enjoy coming to work!
The good thingsI love the banter! The Construction team know how to have a good belly laugh. We work hard, but it's nice to be in an environment where there is a balance between work and play.
The challengesThere are no challenges per se. Coming to work is quite enjoyable. The only thing I would change, would be to have a little more flexibility around start/finish times.

Working with the team at Palm Lake Group over the past 12 months has been an incredible learning journey. Every week brings new insights, which I really enjoy and appreciate. I'm challenged on a daily basis, which keeps things interesting.
The good thingsI’m fortunate to be part of an incredible team where everyone collaborates seamlessly.
The challengesMaintaining work-life balance can be challenging with a 5-day work week, but I’m fortunate to have the flexibility to choose my start and finish times. Some days, I can start early and wrap up early, which is especially helpful when I have appointments or other personal commitments.
