You need to have thick skin to work here, You're there for the Residents. not for management.
The good thingsThe Residents and my fellow team members
The challengesAdministration on site and at Head Office that have no real understanding of being on the floor. Just because it works in theory doesn't mean it will work on the floor.

The good thingsCustomer interactions, company events, quality of product
The challengesThere weren't many challenges, the occasional fellow staff member would be a bit overbearing but there’s always one in a workplace lol. I enjoyed my time with them.

It is a rewarding experience as a caretaker.
The good thingsBuilding a great repour with management and the residents. Variety of duties make the position interesting. Very happy with our position.
The challengesEvery day there is something different to do and learn. Learning to balance the administrative duties with the maintenance/cleaning duties of the role.
