Will stay with them until something better comes up, not a company to stay with if you want to keep your mental health in good shape.
The good thingsGood team in WA. Good product range
The challengesTo much policy and procedures (red tape) and hurdles to clear just to be able to be able to make a sale. Not an easy company for a customer to do business with. Causes lot of frustration for the staff. Lots of micro managing from head office management.

Unfortunately, Parchem has been dissolved into the Dulux Trade Stores.
The good thingsGreat people to work .
The challengesAlways different questions asked about filling gaps, cracks, sealer, epoxy, waterproofing, machines. Always makes you think, read and ask specialists if your not sure.

Given an opportunity to grow, but in the end was made redundant due to mergers - a fork in the road I with I hadn't taken.

Too many constant changes in top management lead to undefind or ever changing paths to reach objectives
The good thingsOpportunities to express ideas Divesified product range that allows employees to move within company if suitable Some very good products Good enterprise system - SAP In general good ability to perform best manufacturing practice Own laboratory for testing products
The challengesFrequent Management replacement - new approach too frequent, inconsistency in directions Too many decisions made based on theory -not actual market feed back Too many restructures Insufficient technical support availability Too many products lead to lack of stock because of the dollar value it represents extending significantly delivery time -for international trade it is an unmeasurable impact

Once a great company under Alesco that has been destroyed following a Dulux takeover.
The good thingsThe Technical team is brilliant. The only department in the entire company where the 'Values and Behaviours' are actually adhered to.
The challengesThe upper management from Dulux and Selleys are completely out of touch with Parchem's core customer base.
