    Nice work staff, need good manage of RSA
    The good thingsThe pay rate is good, the work environment (staff, supervisors, team leaders) is nice, relaxed, respectful and friendly. The tasks as a F&B attendant are easy.
    The challengesWhat I found challenging the most is dealing with customers, as this is a place where they go to have fun with friends/family and usually drink a lot which means you need to be careful approaching them. Sometimes they can be quite rude.

    The good thingsworking for perth racing has been great! very friendly staffing and management, good pay rate and a huge range of options depending on your choice of employment.

    Shifts finished earlier than rostered on for, shifts not always issued, working outside in the heat or cold or wet, team leaders and other staff not easy to get to know and i would not recommend Perth Racing to anyone.
    The good thingsFree parking in a good location
    The challengesThe Team leaders obviously have their favourite staff. I was employed from October 2018 until June 2019 and only worked 2 shifts, i did receive about another 5 however had to turn them down as they clashed with my other casual job. There was a period also where for 3 months straight, i was not issued a shift at all. For the 2 shifts i worked i was sent home at least 2 hours early then i was rostered on for.

    It’s actually a great place to work and I love it. There are many wonderful people employed here, and the management are helpful, caring people.
    The good thingsGreat penalty rates. Sunday and holiday pay are very profitable.
    The challengesShifts don’t always get offered until the week that they want the shift filled. By then it can be too late, as people make plans and you can’t not make plans ‘in hope’ that you’ll get a shift. Perhaps if we were offered rostered shifts 3 weeks prior, they’d have a better chance at filling them. It’s confusing, because sometimes they are organised with shifts like this, but other times they are not.
