One of the best companies I have worked for
The good thingsThe onboarding process once you join the company was great they didnt just throw you into the deep in like some companies do and provided good training Also the managing director of Pioneer Credit is very hands on within the company
The challengesSupport from management and the manager Even just 5-10 daily check ins with staff would of been good Not letting certain staff pinch accounts from others

    Soul crushing
The good thingsEasy job, if you can handle calling people out of the blue about their friends and neighbours.
The challengesMicromanagement, overbearing managers when not meeting target. Honestly if people have let their debt go to default, 95% of the time they have no inclination to pay no matter how much you call.

Great stepping stone into future career options.
The good thingsgreat work culture, possibility of work from home if you meet requirements, rewarded for hard work (increased salary) options to speak to therapists that Pioneer provides and pays for, training at your request if needed, room for growth and so many positions available in the company.
The challengesthe job in itself can be challenging mentally, you're dealing with upset and or angry customers regarding their outstanding accounts and sometimes making uncomfortable calls but you will always have support from your team and team leader if you are having a difficult time, you gain so much experience and there's so much room to grow in the company and on an individual level.

The challengesThe customers you speak to can be difficult, but with resilience and further training you can overcome any obstacles.

Work somewhere else if you have a heart and an understanding of irresponsible lending. People are the victims and the banks/credit providers the culprits!
The good thingsTraining Team were fantastic.
The challengesLack of empathy within the employees for the people in debt. Team Leaders basically squashed what you were taught and did it their own way.

Stressful work environment that is highly focused on financial targets, call volumes and talk times. Customer service to people experiencing financial difficulty comes second.
    The good thingsFriendly team members
The challengesGetting people on the phone to address their debt. Reaching monthly financial targets is challenging. Reaching target is subject to getting the debtor on the phone and wanting to address their debt. Reaching expected call volumes and talk times. Management will provide more assistance to their favourite team members.
