This was one of the most toxic workplaces I’ve experienced. There was no real team culture — and micromanagement were common and ignored by leadership. The environment was filled with ex-consultants who prioritised politics over outcomes. The company claims to work in an Agile way, but it is anything but. The processes are rigid, top-down, and stifle collaboration and innovation. If you value respect, psychological safety, or true Agile practices, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere

The challengesToxic workplace and no real team culture

I came back!! I worked with P&N Bank many years ago for a time but needed to seek a change due to personal circumstances. P&N has always been rated as one of my best working experiences and given another opportunity three years ago, I took up the challenge. It is fair to say that my perspective on it being a great place to work hasn't changed.
The good thingsDiversity, Inclusion and Gender Equality - it is something that is a very strong focus for Management and Executives
The challengesSize of the Company reduces the opportunities to grow your career

The good thingsoffice looks good, opportunity to be flown to east coast a fair bit
The challengesslow, small company so not a lot of opportunity, only favourites in the company are treated well

Management act without morals - "redundant" position advertised after 23 days.
The good thingsGreat physical environment, great team spirit at the lower levels.
The challengesCurrent management within IT avoid facing difficult situations, reaching for the redundancy lever instead.

Great team culture, best place I have ever worked
The good thingsThe people and culture, I felt like my opinions and contributions were valued. I experienced fantastic development and career opportunities.
The challengesAs a smaller organisation, role scopes are broad and there are a lot of priorities to juggle. However you gain great experience as a result of this.

The good thingsGood projects, good people to work with

Thankful for the career opportunities however this was an extremely stressful organization to work for, I would not return.
The good thingsP&N offers good career progression opportunities.
The challengesToo many managers, and too many levels of management. The various business units struggle to work together, not a cohesive organization. Senior management are only interested in their own plot in the business.

A grat place to work with friendly, almost family, atmosphere where all seems to be focused on continually improving the way they do things.
The good thingsOpen environment with a culture of working together to achieve goals. True culture of customer focus.
The challengesSmaller Bank with limits to amount they can spend on system development. Systems architect requires more investment.
