The good thingsFlexible, understanding and helpful, they listen,
The challengesLots of tasks across three different areas in one store , don't get a discount for buying product, no help for stocktake counting

Flexible hours, low pay, a lot of work expected to be done in minimum hours
The good thingsNo work on weekends, flexible hours. Permanent part time
The challengesDealing with product issues, unhygienic customer's and bugs/ insects . Amount of work they expect in limited hours allowed. Low pay rate .

Unprofessional company, over worked, under paid and not valued. Not recommended.
    The good thingsRelatively flexible hours.
The challengesDisorganised company with poor management. The work is very repetitive, lots of heavy lifting and boring. You aren't rewarded for your efforts and management don't care. Black out periods near public holidays so you can't go away with family for extra long weekends.

Job itself great, but no recognition of a job well done.
The good thingsAutonomy in job, flexible start times. As long as you try to complete your tasks, all is good.
The challengesProlife foods management. No empathy from management, just dogmatic demand after demand. No ‘thanks for your hard work’.

    Do not recommend this company
The good thingsMade some good friends and learned a lot. Flexible hours and reasonablty easy job.
The challengesAn 'us' and 'them' environment within the management team fostered by senior leaders in the Australian business. This mentality flows down through the business to the customer-facing merchandisers.

    Mean girls, but with Nuts.
The good thingsThe hours are pretty good. Gym reimbursements for those interested. Cheap nuts. Production and warehouse team are good.
The challengesParking wars. Personalities in some areas of the business are abrasive and creates more of an high school atmosphere. Management are not always willing to help and seem to not have the best interests of their employees at heart, more focused on their own agendas. Not much career progression available, can't branch to other areas.

A learning experience. Company could benefit from valuing employees and their contributions.
The good thingsGood working hours, although hours have to be put in after hours to be able to keep up with the work load. Comfortable office space and onsite parking. Perks such as gym subsidy and monthly company lunch.
The challengesLack of training and support from management in some departments. Outdated systems and processes, company not taking advantage of modern technology resulting in time and resources wasted. Negative culture amongst employees.

Some of the best years of my working life in the first few years and I learnt so much.
The good thingsFantastic support in the early stages of my journey and autonomy to build and develop my own team. Met some amazing people and left with long life friends across all states. The travel was amazing, I got to see some amazing places across Australia.
The challengesCareer development opportunities due to restructure. Accountability for poor performance/attitude from team members/management not in my region. Sadly no exit interview to offer suggestions for improvement.

Nice company management to deal with but pay rate needs to be a lot higher for the work you do.
The good thingsManagement were very nice; Hours were relatively flexible; Mon-Fri Hours.
The challengesToo much work to do in the time given. LOTS of heavy lifting and LOTS of cleaning. Zero support from the stores where merchandising took place. Terrible pay rate!!!

Relaxed job not alot of challenges or supervision
The good thingsRelaxed roster, noone minds if you start early to finish early etc as long as the work gets done. Relaxed role with no-one breathing over your shoulder checking on your work. Can go about things in your own preferred work method.
The challengesCan be lonely sometimes as you are working solo all the time and management don't have much to do with you unless you have problems and need to check in with them, mostly just go about your own day alone. Some days are hard with heavy lifting, the work can be repetitive and tedious.

I do not recommend you work for this company the pay is not great.
The good thingsIndependently worked on your own accord. Hours were minimal.
The challengesNo support, confusing, poor training and was not treated with respect by the work place I was subcontracting in. Work load impossibly big for the amount of hours given, extremely overwhelming.

Great job if you just want some pocket money.
The good thingsColes staff are friendly Working autonomously
The challengesNo communication from management. Regional managers have way too many stores to cover to get issues dealt with swiftly. Time constraints and no pay for overtime. Mindless and brain numbing. Sooo monotonous.

I thoroughly enjoyed my job, the supervisors and management were good to work with and the work environment was supportive.
The good thingsAn interesting variety of activities within my job description. The support from supervisors and management was always positive. Easy access to information and a good working relationship with members of the Coles store.
The challengesWorking in Warwick was a challenge regarding face-to-face contact with supervisors. Some difficulty in having stock delivered on time because of the distance from a major city.
