    Worst employer in Australian history!
The good thingsThere were no good things.
The challengesThe struggle of having to deal with atrociously unprofessional management who promote people based on popularity and not actual work ethics, skills, knowledge, and productivity. No processes and no procedures. Management uses the iron fist and fear tactics to control. No training, no support. No idea whether they even have HR... Raised concerns with management and was told the concerns were insignificant. Literally the worst employer I have experienced.

Really enjoyable with lots of great people
The good thingsGreat people and culture. I've really enjoyed the passion people have to deliver a great service and celebrate each others success.
The challengesParking can be difficult. Catching the train is heaps easier though

It’s a numbers-first environment. Know what you're getting into, and don’t be afraid to walk away if it starts messing with your head
The good thingsSome of the people were nice and tried to help when I asked. The systems seemed well organised if there had been more time to learn them properly.
The challengesTraining was rushed and stressful. I felt thrown into the job without enough time to adjust. I mentioned I had a condition early on, but I didn’t feel supported or given a fair chance. Everything felt about numbers and pressure, not about helping people grow. It left me feeling defeated.

    Unprofessional hiring
The good thingsThere are no good things about the company
The challengesHighly unprofessional hiring. I was there with a group of people and was told that there would be an update regarding the role in 2 weeks. Until 4 weeks there was no update. Even after emailing and messaging the hiring manager Olga she didnt even reply. Promised to call but never did and never ans

High expectations, poor support – a revolving door workplace.
The good thingsYou get one unplugged day a year for wellbeing, which is nice but feels small given the work environment. The monthly “Friyay” half-day is great, but often quietly removed after a few months.
The challengesOnboarding is poor, with only basic compliance training that doesn’t prepare you. High KPIs are set early, support is minimal, and probation often ends in dismissal to make way for new hires.

    not good, unprofessional hiring managers
The good thingsNothing, unprofessional hiring managers.
The challengesNever heard back from anyone in relation to my interview which was 2 hours long with a group of people. A quick email would have been nice and not being ghosted instead.

Work at the Dandenong site Supervisors were not responsible and not supported. When start work they advertised last Friday of every month is half day that only happen 2 times after that excuses not enough staff people calling sick ..,no professional language used by Supervisors.
The good thingsNothing is good about this company only your co worker who going through the same stress and you can share your thoughts with them.
The challengesHigh KPI and mangers who have no experience and will never help with anything.

My experience has been good , had some people help from here and there as sometimes the calls can be frustrating. Had good finishing as well as person who values partying with people on good terms. Was warm farewell
The good thingsGood place if you do your work , good people around to help so that you don't rely on leaders if the relationship is not that great. Work is not that hard you just have to get used to system
The challengesPay could be better compared the nature of job

Would be better if the Base Salary was at least 10k higher. 55k is very low and only some campaigns like CBA gives monthly $$$ Bonus for reaching KPI. KPI does increase each month too. There are people who have like 150k-300k Monthly Targets to reach so just brace yourselves when it does increase. It will start off really low and then increase.
The good thingsThere is alot of support if you reach out
The challengesMoving to different teams/campaigns takes alot of time and need to be very patient too.

Loved the job, team and management but opportunities were given to redundant employees.

Good temporary job that helped me save a bit of money quickly for an overseas trip, however it definitely took a toll on my mental health.
The good thingsGood sense of community within the team, people look out for each other and get along.
The challengesThe nature of the work itself, talking to marginalised customers who realistically cannot afford to pay back a debt and are in very vulnerable situations took a toll on me me and others mentally. Management was supportive at times but expected staff to not really show too much emotion which is hard when dealing with aggressive/emotional customers.

Its a good company with good incentives if you are working an upper management or corporate role, but for low level staff/collectors this place will make you start questioning your self worth.
The good thingsIn a very good location and has very flexible working hours. Some very supportive colleagues. Easy to get a job- no experience needed
The challengesThe business is mostly managed by people who are unqualified; who has little to no respect for their staff and with only one thing in their mind-money. Seen countless amounts of low level staff members being treated unjustly and micro-managed. You are expected to work extra to achieve required targets which are unrealistic for what the pay is. The role already is challenging, the lack of proper management and the poor work culture does not help.

Great place to work if you are willing to challenge yourself and grow in your role
The good thingsRecoveriescorp is a company that actively develops staff and promotes from within. Management are visible and approachable and hard work and initiative are rewarded. I've had amazing opportunities in my field that I couldn't imagine getting in another more rigid and less enterprising organisation.
The challengesThe usual challenges that arise from working in a corporate environment! But I have found on the whole a refreshing lack of office politics and a real commitment to employees' wellbeing and development.

People and culture are great except for job progression and salary.
The good thingsFriendly mentor, peers and management training you to be the very best. Great exposure to the industry and entry work, can make a career out of it if you can handle the hours and pay,
The challengesSalary and progression; senior and management role are very limited and with large pool of workforce, it is highly unlikely you going to be going high anytime.

I highly recommend working at Recoveriescorp!!!!!
The good thingsThroughout my time at Recoveriescorp I have been supported in my career development and had the opportunity to learn and grow with the organisation. The level of geniune care and support from my Leaders and even upper management has been fantastic and I would be where I am today without them.
The challengesThe only real challenge i face is leaving the organisation. It's hard to say goodbye to somewhere you have enjoyed working for 8 years.

    Great company and great people
The good thingsThe people and the atmosphere make it an enjoyable place to work. The opportunities to engage in areas of the business that assist in career development. The managers care about the well being of their staff and it is felt in their actions and the activities that are organised. The monthly interacts with the whole business which allows exceptional people to be recognised. The workload is manageable and can be altered by managers if it is too much.
The challengesThere is very little autonomy in the role, the workload can be repetitive and customers comments can be overwhelming.

Not great at all working here. You're not yourself.
The good thingsClose to the city work colleagues endless choices off shops
The challengesManagement Targets that are unrealistic to achieve No proper training No empathy when you call in sick and you feel guilty doing so when you sick. Walking on egg shells and you get pulled up for every little mistake!! Micromanaged. Pay is terrible. Not worth it.
