    Fantastic experience!
The good thingsFriendly team environment and a solid training program. Good pay package for an entry level position. It's a growing company so they're looking for people to grow with it.
The challengesNot too much at all really, it's a pretty standard sales job.

What an angry place to work at!
The good thingsThe customer service staff were lovely. Next question!
The challengesThere was nothing good about working at this place. The office is in a depressing part of Marrickville, the building is practically windowless, also depressing, and the toilets stunk. The customer service department was out of control with an endless stream of angry customers, heavily under resourced and under skilled staff and an unsupportive, belligerent owner. There was little hope of ever overcoming the mountain of customer agro that had been generated any time soon. Early on I copped a spray from the boss for no good reason other than he was venting his frustrations so I promptly quit. Life's too short to put up with that sort of thing. Found a new job the very next day and was very glad I dodged that bullet. However, I felt sorry for the staff left behind because they were really nice people working under unnecessary duress. I also felt sorry for the customers who had signed up their businesses and were unable to operate for whatever reason. It was unpleasant speaking with them knowing that nothing was going to happen to help them. That was just awful.

Great team culture at a vibrant and growing company. Good corporate exposure.
The good thingsExcellent work environment. Have been at Red Telecom for almost 4 years now. They accomodate my university commitments and have provided me the most invaluable corporate experience I could have gotten early on in my working career. A perfect opportunity to acquire business acumen.
The challengesTough industry with extensive compliance requirements.

A fantastic close team of professionals who work together to constantly improve and grow.
The good thingsExcellent team spirit and positive working environment. Coffee, tea and snacks provided for free everyday. Sometimes breakfast was bought for us as a special treat. There is constant training and talking about new ways of improving as a team. Effie Zervas is a great manager of the sales team and constantly is training and motivating us in a positive way. The telesales staff are kept informed of how the sales team and highers are doing and in general you feel no matter what your position, everyone is treated with equal respect.
The challengesThe market is saturated so it can be hard at times to strike the interest of the customer.

The challengesVery cut throat. Performance pressure may be a turn off for some. Broken processes.
