Good for early exposure, but high pressure and poor staff retention make it challenging long-term.The good thingsI enjoyed my time with this organisation, particularly in the early stages of my career. The workplace culture was supportive, with a strong sense of teamwork. There were clear structures and processes in place, and the organisation had a high level of internal expertise, which provided valuable learning and development opportunities.
The challengesWhile the early years were positive, the organisation experienced a noticeable shift over time. The business became increasingly focused on billable targets, and many internal processes resulted in unnecessary double handling. Rather than supporting staff experiencing burnout, there appeared to be a pattern of pushing people out, which impacted morale. The emphasis seemed to move away from delivering high-quality, client-centred work and toward meeting workflows, micromanaging underperformance, and driving financial outcomes above all else. This ultimately contributed to a loss of experienced staff like myself and a high turnover within the team which has been ongoing.
