It was a great company to work for however they are wanting to grow significantly and take on the global heavy weights and they are losing the great culture they once enjoyed.
The good thingsGreat brand, been going 165 years. Well recognised by the market place. Plenty of autonomy and work / life balance. Not clock watchers.
The challengesIn 2018 under went major structural change from a State based business to a National business ie: rather than reporting into your local MD, everyone now reports into a National Head in another State which has killed the local culture.

    Fun.
The good thingsThe Savills culture is excellent. I appreciate that Managers are approachable and whilst everyone is hardworking and professional, staff are friendly and willing to socialise in non-work hours. Processes are clear, with new IT programs making the workload easier to manage. I appreciate a collaborative strategy to completing work within my team, instead of being micro-managed. I also feel there is a excellent opportunity to grow your career, as Savills encourage and support growth and career shifts within the company if desired.
The challengesPeriods of high work loads, but I enjoy the challenge.

The good thingsThe opportunity to excel. Savills were always willing to assist staff who wanted to were wanting grow within tge company
