    The good thingsVery relaxing. low work load but plenty of overtime guaranteed. ideal for old ppl waiting for retirement. perfect for certain nationalities.
    The challengesIt will be one of the worst companies if you want to learn sth or want career progression.

    A company that truly does what it says it is going to do!
    The good thingsIt is rare to come across a company that truly does what it says it is going to do for its employees - Schlam does! As a mother who has to balance both family and work, Schlam gives me the flexibility I need to take care of my family while growing my career. I enjoy the culture at Schlam, and I believe in the vision. More importantly, I feel included, respected and valued.
    The challengesAs a rapidly growing company, changes happen fast here and sometimes it can be overwhelming. Knowing however that you are a part of a successful and growing company, makes those growing pains seem worth it.

    It has been a positive experience for me and I'm on the exact career path that I've been chasing for a long time.
    The good thingsI have the best job in the company, I get to know everyone that is interested in joining Schlam and help people through their onboarding. Pay rates are good. Co-workers are good to get along with and have a laugh with. The management team supports me well and gives assistance whenever I need it without micromanaging me or using ridiculous KPI's.
    The challengesSame as any recruitment role, you get the occasional candidate that can be a bit slow to get info from, but other than that it's been a great place to work.

    A changing company with a purpose to be on every mine in the world!
    The good thingsIt's a great place to work with lots of good colleagues around. The company itself is progressive and growing at a rapid pace, so I'm grateful to be here at such an exciting time.
    The challengesOf course, rapid change comes with challenges. New systems and processes need to be developed and change management is front of mind. But, there have only been a handful of days where I haven't gone home with a massive smile on my face.

    Thoroughly enjoy working for Schlam Engineering.
    The good thingsGreat variety of work, great vehicles and workshop facilities. Friendly team environment.
    The challengesSo many sites in field service opportunities is challenging to learn all the locations etc but at the same time it is good to get around and see so much of the Pilbara.

    A great company offering awesome employee benefits. It's nice to know there is diversity and opportunities with the one employer
    The good thingsA progressive company. Willing to listen and accommodate my needs. I feel Schlam puts their people first. Not just a labour hire company, I feel like I'm a part of something BIG.
    The challengesI can't fault them. It's great to have received new boots and pants upon starting as well as all my inductions were funded. I haven't seen this sort of investment in the workforce from other competitors.

    Give it a go for the challenge as you will get one, you will be rewarded for your efforts.
    The good thingsIf you are willing to throw yourself at the company and take pride in the name on your shirt the sky is the limit, management will throw you all sorts of opportunities and reasonable money to match.
    The challengesSometimes management tends to be a bit set and forget. Here's a laptop and a phone...... Don't hurt yourself!! It has gotten better over time, the support seems to be there when needed. Management turn over faster than the blue collar. Not sure why!!

    The challengesConstant revolving door of management and expected to go to other sites or complete further shifts with minimal notice pror to scheduled R&R
