One of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
The good thingsThe people. The opportunities. There are so many good things about working at Smart but it’s really the people that make you look forward to coming into work the next day and the opportunity to progress within the company, no matter how long you’ve been working here. It’s also not a bad place to make a lot of money and feel good about it because you’re not only helping the environment but helping people save money as well.
The challengesIt’s a challenge everyday when you speak to so many people that aren’t always the nicest but it’s how we improve and how we handle it as a team that makes it all worth it.

Best job I’ve had, very enjoyable and taught me a lot.
The good thingsAbsolutely unreal opportunity to do well, everyone’s mates and it’s real fun to work there. It’s sick, get to see reward for your effort and the more you put in the more you get out.
The challengesI mean some prospects can be rude occasionally but from how much the good outweighs that, doesn’t really matter

Smart really open up the opportunity to live a great life down under! Great pay, great work life balance, fun up-beat people to be surrounded by. If you're prepared to work hard and put in the graft, you'll be thanking yourself afterwards. Be in a job where work doesn't feel like ''work''.
The good thingsWork colleagues become best friends, you drive your own salary by your level of commitment and work ethic, the COMMISSION.
The challengesSaturday mornings after Friday night work drinks!

When I first started working with smart energy, I was a bit nervous, but after the first day, I felt comfortable and was in my zone, the training they provide is great! Smart energy is a great place to work and I haven’t enjoyed a job so much until now, I highly recommend Smart Energy to anyone, if you are wanting to get into sales this is the right path.
The good thingsGreat people to work for, very supportive of things in work hours and also outside of work, it doesn’t feel like just a regular job, the vibe is incredible and everyone is there for each other.
The challengesDay 1. That’s it, after that you feel more comfortable then ever.

Opportunity to work with some great people but you have to put up with money-hungry management who don't care about their workers and misleading pay that isn't what they advertise
    The good thingsCo-workers and hours
The challengesLow pay and poor management

    Get it on the roof
The good thingsPicture this. You wake up in paradise and you have to cruise through Byron to get to work after your morning at the beach. You arrive, there's a park, and your teammate offers you a coffee before you get stuck into your work for the day. You are empowered and have the freedom to make your own decisions and not reprimanded should things not work out, so long as you learn from your mistakes. Working for the 3rd fastest growing company in Australia is really exciting, a mix of challenges and milestones. Everyone gets in and does their bit and when we're done on Fridays we all have a beer. We're all mates and like a big family that helps each other out when we need it.
The challengesThe usual challenges that a high growth startup encounters like a lot of change, new stakeholders and territories, and you need to thrive on ambiguity.

    Excited for the future
The good thingsLearning about sales process. Management identified my strengths and weaknesses and helped me to develop my skills. You are rewarded from success, not tenure. So if you put in the effort you can go a long way.
The challengesOvercoming negativity has been a challenge but also a huge positive as it has helped immensely with personal development.

Thoroughly enjoy working for a fantastic company that respects and acknowledges the work you put in.
The good thingsAn incredible company to work for with plenty of opportunity for career progression and personal development. A great "work hard play hard" culture. The team at Smart Energy really look after their employees and I love the nonhierarchic approach from the management team. You really feel like an equal when you work for Smart Energy where your hard work is recognized.
The challengesQuite a fast paced company that growing rapidly so you have to be adaptable to different tasks with a short amount of notice.
