    I won't return even if asked. The managers pull the ladder up from behind them. They hate you.
    The good things8 hour shifts. Afternoon shifts with 2pm starts and extra pay. Some areas had very clear directions and patient managers. The other workers were very friendly. But it depends on where you're posted.
    The challengesThe awful, anti-social management in the HV (high volume) area, where I spent most of my time. The guy working there has zero people skills and does not communicate at all. I was told to stand on my feet for 8 hours straight and clean windows. I found out later that I was apparently being trained how to "run" the area... if you say so. They then fired me without any explanation right before Christmas. My guess is the guy managing that area didn't want to train me because he didn't want to be replaced. Nothing was ever explained to me, I was never given any clear directions nor was I ever given a shot to do anything myself. At least I got paid for my wasted time...

    Good place to work, people are great, highly innovative. It seems like the global hierarchy are struggling to go from a family business into a Global corporation.
    The good thingsGreat place to learn. Fantastic innovation and very high level of competence on the engineering team. High class manufacturing environment with lots of vertical integration.
    The challengesin some locations some on the Global executive tend to micro-manage.

    Its a job.
    The good thingsNice bunch of people to work with. If your looking to work here, be aware the chance of this company surviving in Lonsdale past 2019 (after gov't grants are done) is questionable. As for going from casual to full time. chances are slim to none.
