Enjoyed coming to work, dreaded conversations with management as you never know what answer or guidance you get.
The good thingsVery friendly coworkers. Benefits if you’re liked by management. Autonomous working, if liked by management
The challengesLack of direction Top heavy organisation Heavy Staff loss, esp long term staff leaving.

My experience during my time with the company was rewarding a supported my growth towards future roles.
The good thingsMassive opportunity for growth. Having moved up through various roles over 3 years was a very rewarding experience. Extremely flexible with accommodating my hours as I studied part time. Great culture and work colleagues. The ability to learn unique skills and contribute to the growth of the company was an invaluable experience.
The challengesThere is a large amount of product knowledge, company procedures and a difficult software system to grasp. This can be challenging at first and may take some months to become proficient in your role. The team is very patient and great with expectation management and training. Over time, the tricky parts of the job become second naturr but requires you to have a persistent mindset. The skills you develop from encountering these challenges became a massive benefit when it came time to move on and utilise these skills elsewhere.

A nightmare. I would never give them a try if I were you. Just take a look at the reviews and make a conclusion!
The good thingsNothing but a big showroom (useless) and some lovely colleagues who were leaving the company one by one
The challengesAwful management Old fashioned business model Micromanagement in every level Not having a pre defined job description Thousands of products and minimum training

The good thingsnothing was good about this place, poor management, always understaffed, everyone would always complain about doing what they were paid to do. I was treated horribly and HR did nothing about it ..
The challengesCareer development, training, understaffed, heavy work load and wanting to come to work

    Mediocre workplace.
The good thingsFree on site parking, high-level of banter between fellow employees and customers.
The challenges'Family owned company' values do not translate to to a nice workplace: Upper management are very condescending. Career growth is not applicable to Southern Plumbing.

The place I would always wanna go back.
The good thingsVery friendly and supportive environment, willing to provide self-improvement training and help staff to develop their career. Management team can be very easily reached. Multi-culture is truly embraced here, also always interesting team building events. I found the real work-life balance here, better than anywhere else in Canberra!
The challengesTricky system for general purpose, require

    A stressful waste of time.
The good thingsFellow staff are great to work with. Customers are fantastic too.
The challengesManagement is beyond poor. Company is stagnant because it turns a blind eye to everything. Did not have any teaching or support. What I was hired for was not what I was doing. Same with the previous employee before me.

It's a stepping stone to somewhere else
The good thingsYou get a day off for your birthday, there are some genuinely amazing people working for the company.
The challengesManagement, they talk a big game but it's all smoke and mirrors they very rarely follow through with what they promise. There is also zero career development at all.

Happy to work for this smaller company, just not interested in sales as a career.
The good thingsI worked part time and the company were flexible when I needed to work less due to study.
The challengesIt was a bit clicky but that is a hazard of working part time. Could have received more training about the differences / benefits between products.
