    Balanced Educational Environment.After being in a number of schools that were unsettling and who did not have their policies and procedures in place, especially in relation to student behaviour - it has been great to find a school where, overall the kids and staff are great. If a student plays up, there is support there for you to turn to. Its a fast paced school and staff work super hard. Its spacious with a positive vibe. They really care for the kids. Nice balance of staff.

    Once great, now poor
    The good thingsIn general, the staff were the best thing about SMC. Some good students too.
    The challengesAdmin/management. Used to be very good but has had many changes in recent years and not for the better. Poor leadership and decision making. No support and will work you to the bone.

    A close-knit community
    The good thingsA real community atmosphere - the early learning centre, outside school hours care, and school all work really closely with the local community. It’s a lovely feel.
    The challengesFacilities were not optimal, however there are major projects underway which look like they are going to send St Michaels leaps and bounds ahead.
