Good company to work for overall, however the best days where when it was Tyco Water, a lot more employee benefits and perks.
The good thingsGood opportunities for growth, stable work, safety conscious company.
The challengesTraining new people without experience, pressure to deliver on jobs with tight deadlines.

Solid company that is still proudly 'Made in Australia'
The good thingsAustralian made. Management has been around for many years and are comfortable in their roles. Healthy and supportive culture. Manufacturing process is ingenious.
The challengesGreatest challenge is the threat of new products coming into the market such as large bore polyethylene pipes as well as steel pipes from overseas. Some asset owners do not appreciate Australian quality steel. Steel Mains makes only one type of product so when projects are far and few, the bottom line takes a hit.
