    Bottom of the barrel when it comes to remote hospitality.
    The good thingsThe people I met and the places I got to see.
    The challengesPeople management is poor, no accountability. CEO talks about the company being Gucci this Gucci that. Couldn't be more further from the truth. At least 5 years if not more behind the rest of the remote hospitality providers.

    Out with the old and in with the new.
    The good thingsMeet some great people. The onboarding process was reasonabley good and fast.
    The challengesI have done 2 swings at this camp and can say I am shocked how you are treated. One manager is ok the other is really nasty. she has 2 women that she allows to make your life incredibly hard. I was a target from the second day. It was hard to witness the actions towards another particular staff member there who is an amazing worker. I would rather not return to this site due to these 3 particular staff. I may consider a different site.

    Be Open Minded & Talk To Others & Be Respectful & Nicer To Other.
    The good thingsWhen people actually get along and work as a team not individually and have respect for each other.
    The challengesThe Rudness towards new team members from long term team members, also the talking behind people's backs and about the clients in camp. List goes on.. some members just get away with it.

    Best decision I made! TCLH is a unique workplace, like no other
    The good thingsI was very nervous applying for new jobs, and when I received my first phone call I immediately felt calmed by the Recruitment Manager due to her kindness and positivity. I have been with TCLH for over 2 years now, and have loved every minute. Every day is different, we have a great team in head office and in the field, opportunities for growth and travel, so many great initiatives like reusable TCLH water bottles to reduce waste on site, and team building events.

    Couldn't be happier.
    The good thingsReally positive and collaborative work culture. Genuine opportunities for growth and upskilling for all staff in all departments. I don't feel like I am working FOR the company, but WITH the company.
    The challengesThere are always going to be challenges, especially in the FIFO industry, but the team comes together and as a group we come up with solutions. There is immense support.

    Best FIFO company I've ever worked for!
    The good thingsFantastic family to work for, everyone is great to deal with. Variety of interesting work places all over Australia. Love all my work colleagues, except for that 1. 😠
    The challengesSome remote areas have a whole lot of flies that really love you when you smell of food. I've tried speaking to them, but I don't think they have ears.

    I have been with TCLH for 3 years , had an awesome time and plan on being with them for a lot longer yet. Highly recommend
    The good thingsWork in alot of great locations around Australia and meet alot of awesome people along the way and you are treated as part of a family not a number
    The challengeshot climates can be challenging but the kitchens are well fitted out with air-conditioning
