An amazing company with incredible coworkers and company culture!
The good thingsThe Fundraising People is a really amazing place to work. There's no place like it! First and foremost, there is an amazing company culture and a community made up of the most incredible people. Everyone here is so friendly, down to earth and genuinely cares about one another. It's great to be apart of a company with such strong values and with a management that really cares about the individual workers. There is so much room for growth, personal development and career progression. Not only that, but there is so much support and flexibility offered to help you get to where you want to go! You won't find a more supportive, kind environment to work in. Working with TFP gives you: - Endless opportunities to learn and grow (personally and professionally) - Amazing memories, lots of laughs and happy times - Best of all, life long friendships!
The challengesYou are challenged in a really productive way to learn new things each day and expand your skill-set

    an interesting experience
The good thingsIt was a fun job and allowed you to meet new people.
The challengesThere were clearly favourites that the management would choose and give them perks or allow them to relax more. This job is genuinely so exhausting and you only get paid for 6 hours despite it being a very long day.

The people I worked with were amazing and cared about the charities but unfortunately management only cared about numbers and money.
The good thingsWorking with amazing people from all over the world. While working for this company I was able to become friends with people from different countries and the work trips are cool
The challengesMeeting all types of people who may have very different views and opinions than you do, concern handling, trying to meet target in low income areas, making your way to different locations by yourself

The challengesAs it was face to face fundraising, it was sometimes challenging to engage people in conversations.

Lots of fun, was a great experience.
The good thingsYou get to spending all day meeting new people, chatting about things you have in common but also letting them know about what is going on in the world outside of what we just see in front of us and how they can make a difference. The opportunity to progress your career simply on your personality and your ability to communicate and relate with people.
The challengesHaving the courage to talk to people about touchy subjects and try and get them on board to help out as best they can. Some people you try and talk to can be very rude so you might want to have a teaspoon of cement in the morning before work.
