A workplace with potential, held back by lack of transparency and leadership integrity.
The good thingsMet some genuinely supportive and talented colleagues, which made the experience more positive.
The challengesLack of transparency and consistency in management decisions, particularly around leave approvals, communication, and payroll accuracy. Processes often felt unclear and, at times, unfair, with limited support provided to employees when raising concerns. There is significant room for improvement in leadership accountability, internal communication, and ensuring compliance with fair workplace practices.

Very high staff turnover, expected to hit the ground running with five minutes training.
The good thingsThe hours were quite good.
The challengesCheap products that were sold extremely overpriced. Managers very pushy for you to get high sales with virtually no support in order to do so.

Old-school jewellery business model, a company that is out of touch with trending fashions and genuine customer care.
The good thingsMet some great people! Although initially having great hours, was reliable, well presented, maintained shop cleaning and merchandising... if you aren’t making enough money they will reduce your hours so you have no choice but to resign. Was a shame.
The challengesStaff are on individual budgets and therefore competing for customers. Sometimes it was a toxic environment for everyone. There is apparent pressure coming down from the top, and it translates into the attitude of management. Old-school jewellery business model that is outdating fast, customers want authentic service not obvious commission hungry sales staff that only give time to the big spenders.

The senior management always bluff staff as much as they can, even break the law.
    The good thingsAlmost none, really.
The challengesTry to bluff as much as they can, do not fully pay commission or bonus. Ask staff to do tricky things. Very poor quality products, a lot complaints, very stress.
