Very unexpected and disappointing from such an "esteemed" school.The good thingsThe kids are great!! Other good things: Higher salaries, Lunch & morning tea provided for staff, very good facilities
The challengesThe leadership team create a very toxic environment. They say all the right things and are very good at making everything perfect to the outside world, or the untrained eye, but once you're in it, the pressures and expectations of staff are outrageous, particularly in the extra-curricular realm, with very inadequate compensations. Very high inconsistencies with the way staff are treated, very much a "favourites" culture. Also very high inconsistencies with the way student behaviours, student uniform expectations etc are dealt with, especially if their parent's mean "big money" to the school.
