Avoid at all costs unless you have a great stress relief support network because you'll bloody need itThe good thingsThe pay was good, there's a pool table in the staff room. Higher ups do the same grunt work you do from time to time
The challengesEverything else. Lower Management is horrific, basically treated like an inept child. The hours while they suited me, sucked after a short period. Non management Staff can be helpful but largely clique-y and don't like newcomers/impatient with newcomers but there are some good eggs there. Dangerous items as well.
There is literally no training program, maybe a few hours if you're lucky. Also all the scanners are constantly flat so you spend more time troubleshooting a scanner or getting another one than actually picking an order for the first 2 hours of shift. Then that gets blamed on you as it affects your KPI time(s) which new staff are not excluded from while they get their 5 hours of training
