Only good thing was the customers DONT WORK HERE. They train you poorly, treat you poorly and its not a catering assistant position. Its a small Cafe, serving, dishwashing, milk runs in a golf cart that you do in the rain with no ppe, you get treated awfully by senior staff and management. They make you do training modules at home so they don't have to pay you on company time. I can go on and on. Its not worth it. Only thing good about it are the customers

My overall experience has been highly rewarding, offering growth and diverse, fulfilling challenges.
The good thingsA great job offers numerous benefits, including a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and collaboration. It provides opportunities for skill development and career advancement. Flexibility, such as remote work options and a healthy work-life balance, contributes to overall well-being. I love my team.
The challengesThe challenges include overseeing a large workforce of over 2,500 employees. Despite the complexity, these challenges foster significant personal growth, enhancing strategic thinking.

It was a mistake from the first day, I highly advise to try gain employment at any other company before taking this role.
The good thingsNothing good about working at this company. One of the worst run businesses in Australia
The challengesEverything top to bottom this company has problems and management don't try and solve any of them, just blame staff for the same issues which have been there for years and years.

The good thingsThe people and immediate team were a pleasure to work with.
The challengesPoor communication from management, no career development, high staff turnover. Very reactive environment in terms of getting tasks done due to sub-par planning. Hospitality is fast paced, but you can still plan and have systems in place.

Prepare to be challenged - and learn a lot with very supportive team members.
The good thingsVery dynamic workplace - many opportunities to learn and grow in new positions. Colleagues were fantastic and managers were open and willing to listen to suggestions for improvement - even implementing new ideas!
The challengesBig projects and opportunities are taken on and it can be a stretch to make deadlines while keeping service standards. Were always able to make it work though!

    Glad to have left.
The good thingsNot a very stressful job. You go through busy periods and quiet periods. Easy to be flexible with work hours. Most other employees are easy to get along with.
The challengesManagement wasn't great. Seemed to be only concerned about themselves and appeared to have failed at creating positive relationships with other staff. Staff aren't valued much. Higher turn over rate recently.

I enjoyed working for this company and I like their culture and how much they like and appreciate their staff members.
The good thingsThey have beautiful venues to work at. People are lovely, supportive and they a have a great management teams
The challengesGetting enough hours - if you are employed as casual (as most do), low season. I literally ended up from doing full time hours in November and December to no hours at all in January. This is job is good for an extra cash but if you count on this job only, you can be very disappointed.
