Wasn't a bad place to work until more recently
The good thingsThe Team that you work with made the workload less demanding and overall made it a fun
The challengesBad leadership in the supervisor roles leading to poor decision making Very stressful workload The higherups expect you to stay longer than your contracted hours and there is no cutoff for orders

    Good colleagues BAD management.
The good thingsFellow colleagues are all great, hardworking and helpful. Really healthy team environment.
The challengesManagement are extremely out of touch. Don't seem to care about low staffing levels and expect the impossible everyday with little empathy or thank you. Seems that they're always talking about making "positive changes" but nothing ever happens. Also very difficult to make any career progression.

    Fast paced, fun team environment
The good thingsDealing with customers every day and the level of technical knowledge you learn. The team leaders are happy to spend the time explaining when the job is complex and you get to know the customers well, it's a bit like a family that way!
The challengescan be high volume work, have to be thick skinned and not take it personal

The good thingsGreat pay, overtime if you want it, challenging jobs and you get exposed to some of the biggest tonnage vehicles, travel opportunities
The challengesAlot of senior staff have been in their roles for some time, so makes progression pretty hard.

Actually a well-oiled, professional company but still with a family feel, customers love and respect them, nice to work in a company with a great reputation and genuine interest in making things better
The good thingsBalance: Management understand family time is important, ' Safe at work: you feel safe and secure as the company is stable Actually genuinely care about customers and outcomes: represent great products, internal processes and comms show that the company genuinely cares about customers and their experiences Genuinely try to work smarter: there's robots delivering parts to help alleviate time etc
The challengesSupply chain issues Volvo require Truck Centre to use so many different programs, making it difficult to streamline/make efficient across the branches

Excellent place to be if you are driven and want to work on a great product. have places to grow to if you want to apply yourself. It is a dealership so must support the product, this can mean long hours and alot of running around compounded by lack of and/or experienced staff can make this very high pressure.
The good thingsBeing exposed to the highest tonnage units around , amazing. Good product support. Being part of a brand that provides and supports bumper to bumper
The challengesBeing a dealership and retail, can get challenging in terms of Customer deamands and timelines. sometimes dont have the resources you need tools etc.

Bunbury branch, great energy and work environment.
The good thingsEnergetic and friendly staff at the Bunbury branch, a quality equally matched with our customers makes for enjoyable days.
The challengesHigh paced work and busy work load means being able to juggle and prioritize tasks, can be challenging for some. This get easier the longer you have been in the role.

I have learned loads with TCWA. I learned what I don't want in a job and a lot about poor management.
The good thingsThe customers make the job worthwhile.
The challengesSystems and management styles are antiquated. Opportunities for growth, if your area is outside of sales, are minimal. Bonuses and incentives not offered for support staff only sales. Salaries are not reviewed regularly if at all and there is only a token performance appraisal system which most managers ignore.
