Overall, Veale is a great place to grow and build your skills and career
The good thingsI’ve been with Veale Auto Parts for a while now and what stands out most is the culture. It’s a down-to-earth, supportive place to work where people genuinely help each other out. The teams in the stores, DC, and head office all work together and you always feel like you’re part of something bigger, not just a number. There’s a strong focus on growth and doing things the right way. If you work hard and show initiative, you’re recognised for it. There are lots of opportunities to learn and move into different roles, whether that’s in stores, the warehouse, driving, sales, or admin. Management is approachable and open to feedback — you can actually have a conversation and be heard. The company is proud to be WA owned and you can feel that local, family business mentality in the way people treat each other and our customers.
The challengesLike all businesses that are forever growing there will always be things that can be improved on. For the moment, new systems for admin would be great to help achieve goals faster.

    Extremely disappointed is an understatement.
The good thingsGetting paid, some staff ( not many )
The challengesEverything else - micro management, no REAL training, when asking for help you get that annoyed body language and face expression because you are interrupting their conversation.

If I knew what I know now I would have chosen something else. My life has only got better by leaving just like so many before me.
The good thingsNothing good at all don't even bother
The challengesManagement are inexperienced and unprofessional and when you have a complaint you are the problem.
