AVOID AVOID AVOID terrible place to work!!!
The good thingsI met some nice people through departments and we share the same problems and frustrations with Lancemore group
The challengesThe worst company I worked in my life. They keep changing management every couple of months. Just check before applying how many people left that position before you. It's all about money no one will care about you. Just go through Seek and you will see same postion every 6 months. Person there last between 6 months and 1 year. If the guests know whats happening there they would never book hotel.

The challengesHeritage listed so maintenance was difficult as approval was always needed. Marketed for boutique clients but did not feel like a luxury hotel.

management would sit down and have a wine while everyone else worked as hard as they could!
The good thingssometimes you got food on your shift, and sometimes if you were lucky you might get a 10 min break in your 12 hour shift.
The challenges- Managment was impossible to impress - NO training was provided what so ever. I taught myself how to make coffee/ cocktails - the hours were insane, shifts from 11am- untill 1,2 or 3 am. with very little breaks and then you might have to come back and work the 8am breakfast shift.

The good thingsFast paced working environment
The challengesDifficulty dealing with management, low salary compared to similar roles at other organizations, understaffed departments delivering events, lack of care for equipment, only interested in sales not experiences of clients
