worst culture I've worked in and easily worst wages to go with it. very old school, but projects to the public that its great
The good thingswork life balance, that's about it really.
The challengeswitnessed lots of in appropriate behaviour from people who had been in the organisation a long time. a lot of middle management people leaders were not cut out for the job and just covered up all the bad behaviour. a lot of turn over of staff due to low wages and bad culture.

The challengesBeing a government organisation, working within the boundaries of the legislation and keeping up to the other bigger water corporations.

    tiring
The good thingsgood people generally trying to make a difference
The challengesmanagers not listening to staff, some bad behaviour which is covered up and management telling you its the best place to work when its not true.

Management believes its own publicity but doesn't live up to its own promises & doesn't like issues raised by staff
The good thingsGood people and meets its core functions because of good people rather than good management
The challengeslet down by the management - says to employees 'be the instrument of change' but then punishes people who raise new ideas & who point out shortcomings
