You couldn't pay me enough to work here again.
The good thingsThe office is modern and well-maintained, , they have a good coffee machine, which is a nice perk. When meetings are inevitably scheduled through your lunchbreak they provide good lunches.
The challengesLong hours, constant pressure to do more, and endless meetings leave no time for real work. No training or documentation—you're expected to figure everything out. KPIs are meaningless, with people creating extra work just to meet targets. They only care about billable hours, not employees.

The worst team spirit and support from management in a company that I have worked in, throughout my career.
The good thingsLeaving this company was the best experience.
The challengesThe toxic atmosphere with a known aggressive person in the team and the management did nothing despite numerous complaints to HR. Not a pleasant place to work. No support from the Project management team either.

Wood's collaborative team culture and genuine commitment to work-life balance have exceeded my expectations. Over the past year, I've had the opportunity to work on challenging projects while maintaining a healthy balance between my professional and personal life. The supportive environment, combined with clear paths for career advancement and professional development, makes me excited about my future here.
The good thingsPositive work culture with a guenine concern for work life balance.
The challengesAs a multi-national business, the organisation is very large which can be overwhelming when starting.

    Meh, average
The good thingsGood work mates and the pay was decent.
The challengesNo chance of growth whatsoever. Effectively a labour hire company that won't put you through extra training... only the bare minimum to keep you on the Sites they are working on.

Don't waste your time with Wood; there are much better organsiations without the drama.
The good thingsNext question. Nothing really positive to say here. As my Mum said if you have nothing nice to say don't say it at all!
The challengesWhere do i start. Terrible management: I had more "support" from the client as I was Wood EPCM in this role than my line manager. They are always willing to throw you under the bus for their shortcomings. Nil support from head office: you never saw any Wood management from HQ in the office to provide company updates or townhalls and they were literally across the road. Salary packages were average for the hours you had to put in.

Overall a good company but used to be a lot better before 2015. Current management is not as caring as the previous team. The company shifted to the 'pay less for more work' strategy with a considerable amount of outsourcing to overseas.

Terrible place to work as an architect. Poor architecutre quality projects. Most clients care little about the design side of things. very Political office. Senior management out of touch with employees. Poor IT/ networking infrastructure. Outdated computers. All concerns go through HR department whom give litttle assentive to address concerns as you are among thousands of global employees. Frequent performance reviews requiring you to give on the spot signature like a lawyer contract.
The good thingsLarge office. Complex projects in terms of process planning not design structure innovation.
