Culture and values

RUAH

Drawing on our rich and dynamic Salesian tradition, our values are captured using the acronym RUAH, which is the Hebrew word for the “Spirit of God,” who calls us to live with respect, understanding, affection and humour.

Respect

Our school community is based on mutual respect. It is extremely important that we speak to and treat one another with dignity and respect.

Understanding

We recognise and celebrate each other’s different abilities, talents and skills. We try to understand ourselves and others better, particularly if things are difficult.

Affection

We show kindness to others both in our school and in the wider community. We establish and grow strong friendships to create an environment where everyone feels safe and happy.

Humour

Humour means we keep things in perspective all the time. We remember to enjoy school and all that it offers.

Profession Development

Xavier College have a strong belief in helping staff develop and further their skills. There are always opportunities for leadership and POR roles.

Catholic Education South Australia (CESA)

Xavier College is apart of the CESA system. This system is built up of 101 Catholic Schools across SA. Joining CESA opens you up to these connections.

Multi-Campus College

Xavier College currently comprises of 3 campuses. This allows space for growth and movement between Campuses.
