Backyard Operation Dressed up as a Big Time Operator
The good thingsSome of the staff are a great bunch to work with - experienced, skilled and just generally good people. Good range of work so you won’t get bored.
The challengesLower than standard pay for industry & state - meanwhile executives pocket huge salaries/bonuses. Small company that plays at being big but doesn’t back it up in action. Very limited training & development opportunities provided. Majority of staff in management & supervisory roles are unqualified and inexperienced leading to a high turnover in staff. Very inflexible in regards to work & life balance - old school attitudes.

    Great team and interesting work
The good thingsGreat friendly bunch of people. Diverse skills and depth of experience across the team. You can learn a lot here and have a real impact because the company owns and operates the power stations they build. A focus on including renewable options on current projects is good to be a part of.
The challengesThe team is growing so the usual challenges of trying to scale the systems to adapt.

    An experience I wish I didn’t have
The good thingsThe staff on site are very helpful
The challengesUnfortunately the worst company I have ever worked for, one of the lowest payers that don’t even do CPI. Poorly engineered equipment that results in lots of call out. Poor management at all level

Worked with some great people during my time. Though ultimately the pay and conditions are not good enough when compared to other companies that are out there.
The good things2/2 Roster. Although It is more like 15/13
The challengesManagements opinion on Operator/Maintainers is low and in turn the company does not pay well and offers no gratitude to the employees in any way shape or form.

Not a good company to work for at all. Have had some of the worst decisions and direction in my life from so called managers. It really does feel like some senior people in there don't know what they are doing, just playing the politics game in the office
The good thingsGood roster, thats about it.
The challengesTerrible management, No communication between office and site, Zero safety focus, the company made to feel like you were not valued at all.
