What's it like to be an Animal Technician?
Animal Technicians work one-on-one with animals to support veterinary, pharmaceutical, agricultural and medical scientists and students with their work. They observe and care for animals, which are typically used for breeding, scientific and research purposes.
Animal Technicians work indoors and outdoors in animal enclosures, in all kinds of weather. Shifts can vary and may require work at different times around the clock, seven days a week.
