How to become a Draftsperson
- Consider completing a Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting (MEM40412) which will prepare you for entry-level drafting roles in the manufacturing industry. Completion of a Certificate IV in Residential Drafting (CPP40121) will prepare you entry-level roles drawing building specifications.
- Alternatively, complete a Diploma of Building Design (CPP50921) or an Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural) (22477VIC) to build broader skills relevant to the building industry.
