How to become a Laboratory Assistant
You don’t need qualifications to become a Laboratory Assistant, but they may be advantage when seeking employment.
- Develop your practical skills and build foundational knowledge with a Certificate III in Laboratory Skills (MSL30118).
- Complete a Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (MSL40118). This course will provide you with further skills to assist other laboratory personnel.
- Consider furthering your educating by undertaking a Bachelor of Science. It will take you 3 years to finish full-time, and you’ll need an appropriate ATAR or to apply for alternative entry.
