What's it like to be a Park Ranger?
Park Rangers preserve national parks, scenic areas, privately owned parks and nature reserves by managing the natural environment and its cultural sites, and by providing visitor services. Park Rangers work in a variety of geographical settings, including national parks, snow fields, rainforests and coastal areas. It’s not unusual for park rangers to work on weekends and public holidays. The majority of Park Rangers are employed by government agencies.
