How to become a Review Officer
You don’t need any formal qualifications to work as a Review Officer, but a qualification in compliance or risk management may give you an advantage. An equivalent level of experience may substitute for a qualification in some cases. A bachelor degree is beneficial but not essential.
- 1.Complete a qualification, such as the Certificate IV in Compliance and Risk Management (10964NAT) or Diploma of Quality Auditing (BSB50920). Both courses usually take one year to complete and prepare you for roles in risk, compliance and auditing. Alternatively, you may broaden your career options by completing a bachelor degree in law or a related field. This usually takes between three to four years.
- 2.Complete a Police Check which may be required by some employers.
- 3.Develop experience working in an entry-level role in government, banking, insurance or financial services.
